We would like too invite you to join us over the weekend from 10:00 - 5:30. Heather Cuell, Leslie Rowe-Israelson, Murray Phillips, Fraser McGurk and Galen Davision will be demonstrating different techniques from glass to paint. Reception May 22nd 6-9pm with artists in attendance.

Murray Phillips well renounced painter will be in our courtyard to paint and discuss his passion. Murray's paintings focus on the Western wilderness. It is typical to find Murray heading off into the wilderness for weeks at a time trying to and successfully "capturing the beauty and stillness of nature".

Fraser McGurk uses intense colours and bold simple lines in his art. The wood medium that he has chosen combined with these intense colours and strong lines lends itself to the expression of strength, majesty and haunting beauty in his mountain landscapes.

Galen Davison's use of plaster, zinc, copper, wood, ceramics and oil paint help to create his truly unique paintings. He describes his technique as "a loose flow of movement, a visual journey".

Leslie Rowe-Israelson passion for the mountains is expressed in her kiln cast glass . Leslie believes that art is a reflection of a very personal and often introspective journey. Her desire is to draw the viewer in, evoking thought and emotion through this medium of art.

Heather Cuell strives to translate the gifts of nature in her work. Using the earth's rich textures of rock, land and sea inspire her to create art in glass evoking emotion and energy. Heather achieves this by layering glass to create shapes with texture and explore the many nuances of color.
